2nd Annual 2007 StandUp-A-Thon

STANDUP FOR KIDS
Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill Program:

Our 2nd Annual STANDUP-A-THON will be held on November 3, 2007 at the NC State Centennial Campus from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about homeless and at-risk youth within our community, to raise awareness about child abuse, the leading cause of youth homelessness, and to raise funds for our local street outreach program. 2nd Annual STANDUP-A-THON

NC State Centennial Campus

 

Location of event: please click here for a map of the Centennial Campus. The STANDUP-A-THON is located on the corner of Campus Shore Drive and Main Campus Drive on the brickyard (UP) next to MRC building.

You, your family and friends can register as STANDUP-A-THON participants ($10.00 per person). INCREASE your donation by asking your family and friends to sponsor you as you STAND UP for the youth in our community. STANDUP-A-THON registration will begin at 10:00 am. You will be asked to stand for approximately 3-4 hours, during that time we will provide entertainment and activities for all ages.  You can also register on the day of the event, November 3, 2007 at the North Carolina State Centennial Campus.

 

 

Click on the DONATION link located at the top of this page to register to stand up in our 1st Annual STANDUP-A-THON as a participant ($10.00 per person, increase your donation by obtaining sponsorships), purchase raffle tickets ($3.00 for 1 ticket, $10.00 for 5 tickets, $20.00 for 12 tickets), or provide support for our local street outreach program. Please indicate on donation site: participant, raffle ticket(s) purchase or contribution. We will need contact information (phone number or email address) if you are purchasing raffle tickets (for prize winning notification purposes only, you do NOT need to be present at the time of the raffle drawing to win).

     The Raffle drawing will be held on November 3, 2007 on the North Carolina State Centennial Campus at 3:45 pm. Please come join us!

     You do NOT need to be present at the time of the raffle drawing to win.

13 children die everyday on the streets across America. STANDUP-FOR-KIDS mission is to prevent the loss of our greatest natural resource, our children, and with your donation we will be able to continue to make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve each and every week. We are an all-volunteer organization and all proceeds go directly to aid and assist the at-risk and homeless youth within the Triangle area. Ribbon Man
